Hello, you can call me Kohaku. I'm a quite old woman, so I'm used to the "old style of the internet". As I also say in the homepage, I've never truly got used to social media, their rules and the way they work. For this reason, and to try and not completely lose my mental health, I decided to make a website like in the old days.
I can write in both Italian and English fluently. My spoken English is funny. I google-translate the rest.
I really like anime, manga, football (and other sports), music, and videogames. All my hobbies revolve around those.
I'm an amateur artist, and an amateur writer. I'm terrified by the current state of things though, so I'm very hesitant to expose my works. Actually, I'm hesitant to draw and write in the first place, because of how things are on the internet right now. People seem to be out for blood over the most insignificant things. Also, communities are quite toxic on average. It makes me sad because I do want to connect with other people, but many times it ain't worth it...
I'm pretty much omnivorous, but you won't find me annoying you or insulting you if you post something that's not my taste. At most, I will block/mute, but please don't take it personally: it's the only way social media give you to curate your webspace. And that's why I hate them. I still begrudgingly have social media accounts to follow fanartists and football related posters and shitposters (I even had to make two separate accounts on X since those two things clash like hell, but it didn't really pay off...).
I like many Pokémon-related things, but not all. For example, I don't really like the ash-nime and I absolutely hate GO. Horizons is fine but I'm way behind.
I'm (not-so) secretly a yume. I'm scared to act on that too though, because there are too many people who make that practice appear extremely embarrassing, bringing it to extremes. Onlookers wouldn't really stop and check whether I'm a sane specimen.
As for other things I enjoy, I'm sure you will find them browsing the website. I really want, in time, to represent almost everything I like in it, in some way.
